Don't give up!

As i tried to light the stove, the matchstick didn't give a spark. I wanted to light it from the other side of the matchbox but at the spur of the moment, I said to myself, "no!I won't give up on you!". So I tried again and after a few attempts, the matchstick was lit up...
That's how God feels towards us too. We're like the matchsticks which God says to,"no! I won't give up on you! " 
Why then do you want to give up when God hasn't given up on you?! He knows you can do it! You can become a better person! You can become who he has always wanted you to be! You can become who you truly are! 
Don't give up cos God hasn't given up on you! He hasn't done that before, and he won't start now!

Most of the times, we all want to change and become better at who we are, what we do or where we are. We want to improve in areas we know we are not doing well. Though that's good but it sure isn't enough to 'want to change'. There's a big difference between 'wanting to change' and staying 'committed to change'. You want something doesn't mean you'll get it! You have to act in a way that helps you get it before you have it.  Change occurs first; in our mind! You want to change and grow in those areas? then you've got to check the files in your mind and get rid of those mindset that are wrong and adopt new ones that will elevate you to improve greatly in those areas.  Consciously observe your thoughts and actions so you can live from the correct choices in the present moment rather than being run by wrong programming from the past!  Your knowledge is not limited! In as much as you let your learning lead to action as John Maxwell said.  It's not like people are not aware of what they need to do to change their current level,it's just that they feel they don't have the means to. But what they don't realize is; their knowledge is just a step to change that. They have to begin taking practical steps via their actions.  And when practical step via action begins, the end product would be results.  Take a step today!!!
